Located in a beautiful historic building in downtown Cashton, Wisconsin, we feature an old fashioned restaurant and bar with dining the whole family will enjoy. We are proud that we've kept that old world charm and character in our restaurant. You'll enjoy our extensive menu for both lunch and dinner seven days a week. We have a private room upstairs that is perfect for meetings, parties and banquets.

Badger Crossing Pub & Eatery was named from the former Badger Store and the railroad depot and crossing that were fixtures in Cashton from the town’s beginning.

Badger Crossing Pub & Eatery has been family-owned by Tim and Debbie Hundt since 2005.   After some remodeling, additional tables and chairs, and the addition of the Boss’s Lounge to the second story loft, the Badger Crossing Pub & Eatery remains a prominent & popular spot in the village of Cashton.

We can host various sizes of parties and special events, with dining & lounge facilities on 2 floors.  Contact us for more details.

The Badger Store 1951

The Badger Store grand opening was held Saturday, September 20, 1930. Barney J. Chalupnik served as part owner and manager until his death in October of 1957. It was at that time that the two remaining stockholders, Leonard Thorson and Mrs. B. J. (Irene) Chalupnik named Jim Chalupnik the new manager of the store. The store remained the largest grocery and merchandise store of its kind in the area.
